DeKalb County EDA Receives Award of Merit for New Website

Fort Payne, Ala. – DeKalb County Economic Development Authority received an Award of Merit for their new website at the annual Southern Economic Development Council (SEDC) Conference, held this past week in Savannah, GA. 




Decatur, Alabama based website development company Red Sage Communications, Inc., developed the website. It is the second website Red Sage has developed for DeKalb County EDA. 

Websites were judged on appearance, clarity of message, message impact, execution of message and a clever or unique concept. The DeKalb County EDA website can be seen at http://www.dekalbeda.com.  

"It is a great honor for us to receive this award," said Jimmy Durham, Director of the DeKalb County EDA.  "We love our new website, and believe it is an asset to site consultants, businesses, and more. Today websites are the number one recruitment tool for economic developers. Our website has received positive feedback from consultants and businesses alike and we really appreciate the professionalism from Red Sage in its design. This award just tells us we are succeeding.”
